P-Rex1 limits the agonist-induced internalization of GPCRs independently of its Rac-GEF activity

This study shows that P-Rex1 also regulates GPCR trafficking by limiting agonist-stimulated internalization independently of its Rac-GEF catalytic activity. The findings extend P-Rex1 function beyond Rac activation and identify a non-catalytic role in controlling receptor handling after stimulation.
